Changes to the business

So unfortunately I have had to make some changes to my business. Effective immediately, I have had to make some price changes as the cost of some of my business operations has doubled (website). Looking at local photography sessions prices, I still offer a great deal to those looking for photography! Most session prices will increase to $75 a session with a few that will be slightly more.  I have a select list of individuals that I have already given quotes to and I will honor those.

And I can no longer provide a disc of photos and printing rights for each session. There is a number of reason that I am going to stop doing this. First is for you....I really hate to see your images destroyed by a local 1 hour photo printing store! I personally just had a huge loss of $ because I printed a bunch of 8x10s that first off do NOT look anything like my actual image and then they were cropped all funky :( Secondly, I put a lot of effort into capturing these photographs and then editing them. So I want to you have the very best of everything related to them and providing them on a disc is really not doing that. Plus the cost of the materials involved in making them in beginning to add up. You can however order beautiful prints from my website and there is a feature available if you would like to purchase and download photos for printing purposes on your own. I will offer a USB flash drive with photos for weddings at a price of $250 (I normally take at least 100 photos at the smallest, shortest weddings)

Please know that I value each and every one of you as clients and I hope that you continue to use my services. I believe that I offer a wonderful service for a great value so I hope that I can continue to photograph your family.  Thank you in advance for your understanding!

So I love photographing my children! Now that my sons are older, they are not so into smiling for the camera for Mom! So I am thankful that Miss Mady doesn't care! She has such a unique personality which really shows in this photo! She is cute, goofy and SASSY! I cannot believe that she is going to be 1 this month! How did that happen! Anyways, I just love this photo so much that I wanted to share it in a contest from Rock My Photography and of course all of you! What an amazing website! It is full of all sorts of amazing things for photographers and those who love photography! I am amazed and inspired by all the wonderful people on the website as well! I am going to put a photograph of my sweet baby girl on their contest. She is so photogenic and such a great model for mommy! Her eyes are the most beautiful blue color and she has such a wonderful personality! Of all of the photos that mommy has taken, this is one of my favorites! The Kolbe Family

So way back in February, I had a giveaway on my Facebook business page. The winner of the giveaway was this family and after several tries to get together to do maternity pictures, then newborn pictures, we were finally able to complete the session! It was soooo worth the wait! This family is so adorable! They have 2 little boys who are just precious! We combined the session into a newborn/family session which made things a little longer than normal sessions as this sweet 4 week old did NOT want to sleep! And he was very wiggly! But the family braved through it and we had fun, got to know each other a little and got these beautiful photos of them! Enjoy the cuteness!

Ms. Zoey

This little sweetheart was just over 4 weeks old when I was allowed to photograph her. She is seriously precious! I LOVE photographing babies! They are so sweet and precious! I am trying new things with each baby shoot and am learning what works and what doesn't. Anyways, Ms. Zoey is as cute as can be and didn't care what was going on...until the end! The last picture says "I'm done!"

I can only dream of the day when I will be as good as the photographers associated with Crave Photography and their giveaway!  Check it out on their BLOG. Puppy Satele

One thing we all remember from our childhood, is our pets. But after many years, the memories of these beloved animals as "babies" fades. Like babies, these animals grow fast and suddenly so capturing these animals is like taking newborn photos. They will be valued and cherished for a lifetime. This family is one that I am quite familiar with. I have taken their photographs many times in the past year. From family photos to Easter portraits to fluffy Satele, this family is amazing and very photogenic. I am so lucky to be allowed to photograph this wonderful family!
